You Smoke? is a 100% community-funded independent short film. There is no studio backing this project, every dollar comes directly from people who believe in the story and the care behind how it is made.
Contributions here go toward the most immediate needs of production, making sure the people working on the film are fed, supported, and able to get to and from set. This is about taking care of a small crew so the work can be made with intention and respect.
What your support looks like in practice:
- $10 Coffee or a warm drink for one crew member on a shoot day
- $20 A hot meal for one person
- $35 Transportation support for one person
- $100 Covers one person for a full shoot day
(transportation, meal, and caffeine) - $250 Helps cover a small department for a shoot day
If you choose to contribute, please note that Kit’s Tips feature includes a 3.5% + $0.30 processing fee per tip. You may want to factor that into the amount you give so your intended support lands fully.
